Purpose of Internship:  This one to three month internship provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced mission information workers to gather and analyze information what will be used to develop effective ministry strategies. Opportunities for personal development will be provided in the areas of the philosophy and practice of missionary research, cross-cultural ministry, survey methodology, data analysis, mapping, report writing, and the creation of web based resources. Ideally the internship would take place in a cross-cultural setting. The intern is responsible to raise support for all travel and personal expenses. Additional funds received could be given as an additional stipend. The internship can be built around the intern’s schedule and interests.

Qualifications:  Completed two years of college.  A strong passion for people and desire to assist with basic mission research.  Computer literate and a walking knowledge of programs used in research.  A curious aptitude and willingness to learn.  Theological, biblical, or missions training is recommended but not required.  Cross-cultural experience or social sciences education beneficial.  Being self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team is highly recommended.
